Plato knew the importance of knowledge and learning. He said that a man who neglects education "crosses life with a faltering step".
TW Schultz Nobel Prize winner in economics has shown that investing in education promotes growth. Gary Becker, also a Nobel laureate in economics, explained the theory of human capital, in summary, this theory posits as a principle that investment in education allows better remuneration for an individual.
All are unanimous, how on our scale can we improve education?
Recreation center
In Cape Verde, children only go to school in the morning or in the afternoon.
Most children find themselves alone in front of their homework without support, without school support.
Children with academic difficulties end up dropping out of school very early because they are discouraged by poor results.
Helped by local teachers, our association helps each child to face their difficulties, we bring them other teaching methods (Montessori, Freinet ...). The center allows children to develop all their capacities, through educational games, sports, cultural, musical and artistic activities.
The study of languages like French and English (we hope soon Mandarin) promotes the opening of children's minds.
One city = One center
The objective of the association at first is to create centers throughout Cape Verde.
Secondly, the objective is also to help the children of the Ivory Coast.
In the long term our wish is to open in all African countries.

Soccer School
We usually ask children how they see themselves in 15 years, what are their dreams? What will be their future profession? We have a majority of children who want to be a footballer.
Anxious to help each child achieve their dream we found that there is no football school in Cape Verde.
A school where the lessons are adapted to the child so that he can train in good conditions. A boarding school where no matter where you live you have the opportunity to learn to achieve your dream.
A school where the biggest international clubs can recruit champions.

Montessori Kindergarten
School at Cap-Vert begins at the age of 6. Learning letters and numbers also begins at this age. According to Maria Montessori, the sensitive period of language is between 0 and 6 years. It is during this period that the child learns simply and naturally to speak a language, or even several languages, but also to learn to read. After the age of 6, efforts to learn to read will be greater.
In view of the large number of children in difficulty aged 8/9, the association would like to help children from their youngest ages with the Montessori method.
